Enjoy an evening of relaxed conversation, stunning underwater photography and stories of the sea shared by the photographers themselves. Witness rarely seen humpback rivalry, drama and love scenes told through exquisite images and heart-warming personal accounts from behind the lens.

About Jasmine Carey

The first female photographer to win the prestigious Grand Prize in The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography (HIPA) competition, Jasmine’s evocative image ‘Essence of Life’ captured the world’s attention in June last year.

Jasmine’s work has also been recognised and featured in the Loud and Luminous project in 2019 and 2020, a major show in the Nation’s capital, celebrating the work of 100 of Australia’s finest women photographers. Jasmine’s stunning photographs radiate an emotive, perceptive and graceful style that takes you with her on a journey into her beloved blue world.

About Darren Jew

Canon Master, Darren Jew, six-time ‘Australian Professional Nature Photographer of the Year’ has spent thirty years documenting wildlife around the globe. Public Speaker, publisher, tour leader and author, Darren’s abundant collaborations include wildlife, science and tourism partnerships. He is often called on as keynote speaker, judge and convenor of international and national photography events. Darren was featured in ‘Submerged’ Episode 1, Season 1 of Tales by Light on Netflix.
